Dinner & Awards Night 2024 (October 5), is a fundraiser for the Entrepreneurship Council. We will be recognizing all of this past year’s seminar guest speakers, celebrating our sponsors, and extending our exclusive Machroyce L. Corbitt, Sr., Inspiration Award to one notable individual—Dr. Myland R. Brown—for an extraordinary career of dedication to entrepreneurial inspiration in our community and beyond. Dr. Brown is an educator, author, and motivational speaker, who currently lives in Dothan.
 
Our featured speaker for the event is Mr. Izell Reese, CEO of RCX Sports and former NFL player (Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, and Denver Broncos). Reese is a native of Dothan. He will not only speak on entrepreneurship, but also let us know of some new and exciting developments that are coming to his training center here in Dothan, at the former location of Grandview School. His organization has the only official NFL flag football field located in a town without an NFL football team.
