On Thursday, August 25, 2002 the Entrepreneurship Council hosted a seminar on Hiring Employees.  The speakers included Ann Carr of Alabama Works and Robert Mays of Dothan Career Center in Dothan.

On Thursday, July 28th 2022 the Entrepreneurship Council hosted a seminar on Financing Your Business.  The speakers included Rachel Armstrong from Regional Planning, Jeff Williams from Smartbank, Brent McMahan from Small Business Administration (SBA), and Beau Strong from Southern Development Council.

Mrs. Jernigan provided information that would benefit everyone when it comes to credit.  She touched on what it is, how to get it, and how to use it.  From purchasing insurance to purchasing a new automobile, she she showed how developing a good credit history would help.

On Thursday, May 26th 2002 we invited the City of Dothan to come and speak on Licensing and Zoning.  The event was held at the Dothan Are Chamber of Commerce.  our speakers was Mrs. Stacey from Licensing and Yvette from Zoning. 

On Thursday, April 28, 2022 The Entrepreneurship Council presented a networking event and seminar on Developing a Successful Business Plan.  The speaker for the night was Dr. Richard Voss of the Sorrell College of Business.  The event was held at the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce.

On Thursday, May 31, 2022 The Entrepreneurship Council presented a networking event and seminar on Choosing A Business Entity.  The speaker for the night was Thomas Parish, CPA of ATC Group, Inc.  The event was held at the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce.

On Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce; The Entrepreneurship Council presented a networking event and seminar on Getting Started.  The speaker for the night was Dr. Steve Turkoski of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce.
