Entrepalooza 2024

On Thursday, February 19, 2024, the Entrepreneurship Council held the first Entrepalooza Business and Job Fair.  It was held at Troy University Dothan Campus.  This event was to create a networking opportunity for business owners, build awareness of local businesses, and share job opportunities for members of the community and local students.

Vendors included representatives from Troy University IDEA BANK, Spectra Care, Hudson Alpha, Sarge with his photographs and accessories, Ina Carol of Women of Zion Fashions, 2 Lives In 1 Lifetime, Alabama Health Department, Jay’s Shack, Houston County Democratic Conference, C&J Inflatables, Brinston Avenue Real Estate, Keller Williams Realty, and Computer Printing Etc.  The music was provided by DJ Country Boy and pictures were taken by Lester’s Photography.

There were several attendees including students from Troy Campus and members of the Wiregrass Area.  The event was FREE to the public and bounce houses was donated by C&J Inflatables so that the kids could play while the parents discussed job opportunities and purchase from local vendors.  Prizes were donated by Computer Printing Etc. and included FREE business Card Design, and 1/2 off Web Design services.
