Carrie Wilson Teaches Credit at Entrepreneurship Council Event

On Thursday June 28, 2024, the Entrepreneurship Council hosted a presentation entitled “Developing and Establishing Credit.” The speaker was Carrie Wilson of CCW Financial Solutions LLC (DBA Carrie Wilson Consulting). Held at the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, the event was sponsored by Computer Printing Etc., the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, Smart Bank, and the Sorrell College of Business.
 
Carrie Wilson brings a decade of focused insider experience in the credit side of banking to her audience. In her presentation, she covered the best practices in building, mastering, and using credit effectively. She highlighted how creating a solid foundation for good credit can lead to lower interest rates, better job opportunities, and cost savings. Her talk explained how the credit algorithm works and the importance of regularly monitoring your credit to prevent fraud and ensure accuracy. The session concluded with a Q&A and feedback, where participants, including realtors, expressed how valuable the information was for assisting their clients.
