Bridgett Perkins offers tips and services to get your business online!

On Thursday January 30, 2025, the Entrepreneurship Council hosted a presentation entitled “Getting Your Business Online.” The speaker was Bridgett Perkins of Thryv.  The event was held online via Zoom at the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, the event was sponsored by Computer Printing Etc., the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, Smart Bank, and the Sorrell College of Business.

Bridgett Perkins gave tips and steps to get you business listed on Google in their directory and other online directories, such as Yelp, Yellow Pages, and more.  She also touched on posting to social media and it’s importance.  Posting on social media and in Google will improve the your business listing and give you SEO (Search Engine Optimization).  She also showed how Thryv’s Marketing and online business system could help make it easy to update information in directories and post to social media.  The system also offered a way to accept payments and link to an existing Quickbooks account.
